WHere is an easy take on a beverage from our latest drinks list. Designed as a large-volume prepared mix which is loaded with flavours of a Christmas time, making it perfect for a celebration. Save the extra cordial you can use for breakfast cocktails, puddings, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 guests
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
For the Citrus Syrup: Place all the items inside a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring to dissolve. After that, turn off the stove and leave to cool down completely. Pour to a sterilised bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, it will last for about one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine every spirits and syrup in a big jug, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through preferably using muslin, so it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your batch mix to a stirring glass filled with ice, and stir gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Pour into an chilled martini glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a light spray with the mandarin essence over the drink.
